The sun shone for two beautiful days of plein-air painting at Glendalough and Kilmacurragh Arboretum.
Rod started each day with a demonstration to ease his students into a groove after which they finally got their brushes wet. The morning’s painting was a relaxed atmosphere followed by a picnic lunch under blue skies. Rod’s students were treated to a palette knife demonstration before they started their own pieces for the afternoon. Everyone took home finished canvasses an a whole new experience at the end of the day.
